Occupational Therapists - Fargo

Stephen Olson - Coordinator

Occupational Therapy Coordinator & Owner; OTR/L

Stephen received his bachelor of science in occupational therapy from the University of North Dakota. He has been working in pediatrics since 1998 in multiple settings including acute care, outpatient, school-based services, and community-based services.

Stephen was a primary therapist for specialty clinics serving children with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, muscular dystrophy, pediatric neurological injury, and growth and development for NICU graduates. He has extensive training in the areas of NDT, sensory integration, growth and development, splint and orthotic fabrication, handwriting, and feeding. He is certified in the SOS feeding program.

In addition to his active participation as an NDOTA and AOTA member, Stephen also serves on the Medicaid task force. Stephen has served on the planning committee as well as been an active participant for the local Mobility Camp assisting children to become more aware of new and exciting adaptive equipment. He has been on the Interagency Coordinating Committee for the state of North Dakota for over 12 years and has served on the advisory committee for the North Dakota School of Science Occupational Therapy Assistant Program since 2012.

Stephen enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, boating, and spending time with his children. He is also involved in coaching youth basketball, baseball, and football.

Jill Stroup- OT Coordinator

Jill Stroup has been a therapist since 1994, when she graduated from UND with her Bachelors of Science Degree but later went on to pursue a Master’s of Science Degree from UMary in 2003. She joins us from Alexandria, MN where she was a Therapy Director for almost ten years. Jill has a broad range of expertise, experience, and training in occupational therapy ranging from medical and school based pediatrics to adult rehab, geriatrics and therapy leadership and management. Jill’s professional interests include occupational therapy leadership, advocacy and management as well as patient/family engagement and education in the therapy process, and evidenced based practice combined with meaningful patient/family goals to create successful outcomes.

Jill, originally from the Fargo area, enjoys spending time her husband and two daughters. She has a special interest in mind and body wellness, and has been a long-time yoga instructor.

Alison received an associate of applied science from North Dakota State College of Science. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in occupational therapy from the University of Mary in Bismarck.

Working in adult and pediatric rehabilitation centers in both Illinois and North Dakota, Alison has spent most of her career as a pediatric occupational therapy assistant working in inpatient, outpatient, and school settings. Alison has a strong interest in determining how visual skills affect development. Other areas of interest include sensory processing disorders, developmental skill acquisition, handwriting, social skills, and feeding. She enjoys treating with a team approach for the best possible outcome for the patient.

Alison holds certifications in CPI, CPR and First Aid. She is also a member of NDOTA.

In her spare time, Alison enjoys spending time at the lake, gardening, playing softball, basketball, and cross country skiing. Alison has two adult children. She grew up in the small North Dakota town of Fordville.

Alison joined Pediatric Therapy Partners in 2010.

Amanda Johnson

MS, OTR/L

Amanda Johnson received her master of science in occupational therapy and her bachelor of university science both from the University of Mary in Bismarck. She gained fieldwork experience in both adult and pediatric care, including a school with a focus on special education.

Amanda is talented as a general practitioner and also focuses on sensory integration, social skills, developmental delays, handwriting, fine motor delays, and enjoys working with children on the autism spectrum.

Outside of OT, Amanda spends her time with friends and family, cooking, baking, and crafting. You might find her scouring thrift stores and garage sales on the weekends looking for new board games for her therapy practice! Amanda joined PTP in summer 2016.

Anna Dyk

Anna received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from University of North Dakota. She has worked in pediatrics as an occupational therapist in outpatient clinics and has experience in the early intervention setting. Anna’s professional interests include patients who have sensory, gross and fine motor needs. She also has further education in areas including Handwriting without Tears, Greenspan Floor Time Approach, Mealtime Success, and Treating Torticollis.

When Anna isn’t seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, biking and running.

Anna joined the PTP team in June 2017.

Bailey Stotts

Bailey joins our team with both a master’s degree in occupational therapy and a bachelor’s in psychology from the University of North Dakota. Bailey has experience in a variety of areas including outpatient pediatrics, schools, skilled nursing and residential mental health with children, outpatient rehab, home health, and industrial settings.

Bailey has specific interests in the areas of autism spectrum disorders, pediatric and adolescent mental health, and sensory processing disorders. She is certified in Physical Agent Modalities (PAMS) and has training in the treatment of bowel and bladder dysfunction.

When not working with her patients, Bailey enjoys spending time with family, being in the kitchen baking up goodies, and crafting her way through Pinterest.

Bailey joined PTP in summer 2015.

Barb received her associate of applied science in occupational therapy from North Dakota State College in Wahpeton, North Dakota. Barb has worked as a pediatric certified occupational therapy assistant for over 20 years. Prior to Pediatric Therapy Partners, she worked in the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton School District.

Barb has worked with children in many school-related settings including the birth to 3 program, preschool, elementary, and middle school. The emphasis of her training and experience includes behavior interventions, autism spectrum disorders, sensory regulation dysfunction, developmental delays, and handwriting issues. Barb is also trained in SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) approach to feeding, and Crisis Prevention Intervention. She enjoys working with children and promoting developmental life skills in order to help them be functional and participate in their environmental settings.

Barb's hobbies are reading, golfing, and traveling.

Barb joined Pediatric Therapy Partners in 2013.

Brianna Woodard

Brianna received her Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of North Dakota. She has over three years of experience working primarily in outpatient pediatrics, but Brianna also is skilled in acute care, inpatient rehab, and adult outpatient treatment.

Brianna has been trained in the SOS approach to feeding and has a certification in PAMs (Physical Agent Modalities. Brianna specializes in working with children with developmental, neurological, and physical disabilities as well as sensory processing disorders.

Brianna (who pronounces her name Bry-anna) returned home to North Dakota in May 2016 after spending 3 years living in Nebraska. She enjoys cooking new recipes, yoga, walking her dog, reading, and spending time with her family. Brianna joined PTP in the spring of 2016.

Carlie Rinas

Carlie Rinas' experience includes long-term care, home health, and outpatient pediatrics. She received her master's degree in occupational therapy from St. Catherine University in Minnesota.

Carlie has certifications in Therapeutic Listening, SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) approach to feeding, and Interactive Metronome. She has received additional training in NDT ( neuro-developmental treatment).

Outside of work, Carlie enjoys doing crafts, baking, canning, reading, going to the lake, gardening, and playing with her two cats and one dog.

Carlie joined Pediatric Therapy Partners in 2015.

Darla holds an Associate of Science degree from North Dakota State College of Science. As a member of the NDOTA and a North Dakota COTA of the Year winner, she has experience with adults and children in hospital settings, as a case manager, and in an outpatient clinic.

Darla especially enjoys working with children with autism, developmental delays, and neurological disorders, and she also specializes in sensory integration.

When she’s not working with patients, Darla enjoys spending time at the lake, being with her family, coffee time with friends, fishing, going for walks, reading, sewing, and scrapbooking.

Darla joined PTP in 2015.

Holly received her masters degree in occupational therapy from the University of North Dakota.  She has experience working in an educational setting and in an outpatient pediatric/early intervention program for the past eight years.  Her areas of interest are handwriting, feeding issues in children, social skills/behavior management, and autism. She holds certifications in the SOS Feeding program and a Level 1 Certification in Handwriting Without Tears.

In her free time, Holly enjoys spending time with her family, walking/yoga, reading, baking and blogging.

Holly has been with Pediatric Therapy Partners since 2016.

Kaitlynn Gottenborg

Kaitlynn received her master of occupational therapy degree from the University of Minnesota and bachelor of science in exercise science from Concordia College in Moorhead.

She has experience working as a PCA and working in a clinic setting. Kaitlynn's areas of interest include developmental and physical disabilities.

In her free time, Kaitlynn enjoys spending time with her family and friends, coaching basketball and exercising.

Kaitlynn joined the Pediatric Therapy Partners team in 2013 and works as a per diem therapist.

Karlene Nelson

Karlene has both her bachelors and master’s degree from the University of Mary in Bismarck. Karlene has occupational therapy experience in acute care, pediatric sensorimotor group therapy, and private practice pediatric care. Her interests include Autism Spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, handwriting, developmental delays, feeding skills and sensory processing disorder. Karlene is NBCOT certified; and also CPR, AED and First Aid certified.

In Karlene’s free time, she enjoys cooking & baking, crafting and going to the lake. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends.

Karlene joined PTP in April 2017.

Lexi is originally from Sioux Falls. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from University of Nebraska Lincoln, and achieved her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of South Dakota. Lexi has worked with children with special needs through high school and into college; and did her field work in Early Intervention.

Lexi enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter; also camping and enjoying time at the lake.

Lexi joined PTP in January 2017.

Mary Alice Buettner

Mary Alice received her bachelor of science in occupational therapy from St. Catherine’s College in St. Paul. She has worked as a pediatric therapist for over 36 years with children of all ages in group homes, school systems, and home environments.

Mary Alice has extensive training in the areas of sensory integration, autism strategies, and neurodevelopment techniques. In recent years, she has specialized in the treatment of autism spectrum disorders. During the past several summers, Mary Alice has worked for the Minnesota Autism Society at their day and overnight camps, and she also plays a primary role in mentoring new staff. 

Mary Alice works per diem for Pediatric Therapy Partners as well as working in the area school systems. She joined PTP in 2007.

Sharon Drewlo

Sharon received her bachelor of science in occupational therapy from the University of North Dakota. She has worked in pediatrics for over 20 years in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient, Rehab Day Hospital Program, Home Health, and Early Intervention.

Sharon is a certified provider of both the Therapeutic Listening Program and the SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Feeding Program. She has extensive training in sensory integration and is certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment. Sharon has worked with many different diagnoses including developmental delay, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, prematurity, and sensory processing disorder. She is a member of AOTA and NDOTA. Sharon values being able to work with the children, parents, and caregivers in the children’s natural environments to help them achieve their maximum potential in their daily activities, play, and routines.

Sharon enjoys hiking, cycling, traveling, camping, downhill and cross country skiing, gourmet club, and spending time with family and friends. 

Sharon has been with Pediatric Therapy Partners since 2007.

Suzanne Skogen

Suzanne Skogen holds a master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Minnesota and bachelor of science degrees in both exercise science and sociology with a minor in psychology from NDSU.

Suzy has over six years of experience in a variety of settings, including a pediatric outpatient clinic, early intervention, and in multiple school settings working with children in grades preK-8. She has experience working with a variety of diagnoses and is certified in Handwriting Without Tears. Building independence and confidence in her patients is an important focus for Suzy as she works alongside children and their families to participate in and improve their daily activities and routines.

Having recently moved back to North Dakota, Suzy is looking forward to spending more time with family and friends, especially her nieces and nephew. She enjoys sporting events, particularly NDSU football, working out and being outdoors, and cooking and baking. Suzy joined PTP in 2016.

Tessa Larson

Tessa received her master's in occupational therapy from the University of North Dakota.

She has experience working with the Rural Cass County Special Education Unit. Tessa has additional training in Handwriting Without Tears and enjoys working with patients on developmental delays, behavior interventions, sensory integration, and handwriting.

In her personal time, Tessa likes going to the lake, reading, cooking and baking and spending time with her family.

Tessa joined the PTP team in 2014.

Kelly DeWeese - Bismarck Coordinator

MOT, OTR/L

Kelly received her master's in occupational therapy from the University of North Dakota. She has training in Handwriting without Tears, the Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration Method, Sequential Oral Sensory feeding, and Therapeutic Listening. She is also an active member of AOTA, and the local NDOTA chapter.

Kelly has experience working in the pediatric field since 2008, specializing in feeding, handwriting, reflex integration and sensory integration. Her areas of interest are working together as a team with children and their families, and working with them within the community to achieve the highest level of independence for their daily activities.

In her own time Kelly enjoys traveling, spending time at her lake cabin with her family, and being a mom.

Kelly joined the Pediatric Therapy Partners Family in 2013.

Ariana joins our team with both a master’s degree in occupational therapy and a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from the University of Mary in Bismarck. Ariana has experience in a variety of areas including outpatient pediatrics and early intervention, geriatrics at a skilled nursing facility, and as a behavior interventionist for children with autism.

Ariana is especially passionate about working with her patients on sensory integration, handwriting, feeding, and social skills. She enjoys helping those with developmental delays and neurological disorders as well.

When not working with her patients, Ariana enjoys camping, snow skiing, running, cooking, reading, and scrapbooking.

Ariana joined PTP in early 2016.

Hannah Zimmerman

Hannah received her master's degree in occupational therapy from the University of Mary. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Enhancement in Assessment and Treatment of Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing Disorders and is certified in Therapeutic Listening.

Hannah has experience working with children of all ages from premature infants to early adults in both inpatient and outpatient pediatrics. Her areas of interest include pediatric feeding and swallowing, NDT, sensory integration, and developmental and physical delays.

In her free time, Hannah enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, and participating in water sports.

Jodi Glasser

Jodi received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Mary and her Associate of Science from Bismarck State College. She is currently obtaining her Certificate in Autistic Spectrum Disorders from the University of North Dakota.

Jodi has over 10 years of experience, working in public schools, and various contracted adult and pediatric therapy settings within the Bismarck and Mandan communities.

Her areas of interest include pediatrics, autism, sensory integration, school systems and family education.
In her personal time, Jodi enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three kids, volunteering with the children's ministry at Legacy United Methodist Church, destination vacations with great friends, reading, shopping and coffee dates.

Julie received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Mary in Bismarck. She has experience working as a pediatric therapist, as well as working in geriatrics and outpatient hand therapy.

Julie specializes in kinesiotaping, aquatic therapy, orthopedics and splinting, and is certified in kinesiotaping.

In her free time Julie enjoys traveling, kayaking, bike riding and camping.

Katie Thorson

MS, Occupational Therapist

Katie Thorson has experience in outpatient adult and pediatric settings, with a focus on social skills, sensory integration, feeding, and developmental and physical delays. She holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Mary in Bismarck and completed her fieldwork experience with Pediatric Therapy Partners.

With a well-rounded background, Katie also is passionate about working with children on sensory integration, feeding, and self-regulation.

Outside of Pediatric Therapy Partners, Katie enjoys shopping, traveling, reading, crafting, and spending time with friends, family, and her dog.

Katie joined PTP as a full-time therapist in 2016.

Kristina Bouley

Kristina Bouley holds a master of occupational therapy degree from the University of North Dakota. She has over four years of experience in pediatrics, as well as experience in home health care.

Certified in the Therapeutic Listening Program, Beckman Oral Motor, Handwriting Without Tears (Level 1 Tutor), and as an AmTryke evaluating therapist (Level 3 certified), Kristina specializes in handwriting, sensory processing disorders, early intervention, and autism spectrum disorders.

When she’s not with patients, Kristina enjoys scrapbooking, traveling, photography, spending time with family and friends, and volunteering with AMBUCS. She joined PTP in the summer of 2016.

Mary Kay Flemmer

Mary Kay received a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of North Dakota.

Mary Kay has 18 years of experience working with children and young adults. She is certified in sensory integration and is able to administer the SIPT. Mary Kay is also trained in Handwriting Without Tears, infant massage, kinesio taping method and NDT.

Mary Kay enjoys working with children with sensory based challenges, premature infants and with neuromuscular based challenges.

In her personal time Mary Kay enjoys spending time with her two children, traveling, baking, crafting and walking.

Brian Borchardt - Coordinator

Physical Therapy Coordinator & Owner; MPT

Brian received a Bachelor of Science in both physical therapy and psychology as well as his master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of North Dakota. He has worked in pediatrics since 1998 in a variety of settings including hospital inpatient, outpatient, school-based, and early intervention.

Brian enjoys working with families to coordinate all aspects of children's services. He has training in orthotics, special needs equipment, NDT, Myofascial Release, aquatic therapy, hippotherapy, Down syndrome, childhood fitness and exercise, and childhood athletic injuries. He also serves on the ND Medicaid Task Force.

Brian enjoys golf and coaching his children’s sports teams. He lives in Horace with his wife Amy and their three children.

Alishia Daily

PT, DPT

Alishia received a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of North Dakota and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with an emphasis in Health & Medical Sciences from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

She has worked with children with special needs and typically developing children in various capacities, including daycares as well as a local respite care company. She is interested in gross motor skill development as well as neuromuscular rehabilitation in children of all ages. Alishia has additional training in aquatic therapy through Aquatic Therapy University and is excited to explore more opportunities in this area.

Alishia enjoys playing softball, reading, camping, being at the lake, and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Alishia joined the Pediatric Therapy Partners team in 2011.

Brittany Bleichner

Brittany, originally from Battle Lake MN, received her Bachelors of Science from NDSU in Exercise Science and went onto earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy from UND. Brittany has experience as a physical therapy technician prior to joining PTP.  Brittany is CPR and EMR certified.

When Brittany isn’t helping patients and planning her upcoming wedding; she enjoys living at the lake, her two dogs, crafting, and enjoying the outdoors.

Brittany works as a per diem therapist.

Jodi received her physical therapy degrees from the University of North Dakota and was the first PT at Pediatric Therapy Partners to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

She is interested in gross motor skill development as well as orthopedic and neuromuscular rehabilitation. She is also very interested Kinesio Taping treatments for children. She enjoys finding ways to enable all children to be able to participate in all activities.

Jodi likes to spend her free time with family & friends and really enjoys gymnastics and other activities.

Jodi joined the Pediatric Therapy Partners team in 2006.

Madelynne Sager

PT, DPT

Madelynne received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. She has experience in orthopedic and women’s health in an outpatient setting as well as serving in a pediatric bowel and bladder program.

With a specialty in gross motor skill development and orthopedic injuries and rehabilitation, Maddi focuses on developing an individualized treatment plan for each patient to help reach his or her goals.

In her free time, Maddi enjoys spending time with family and friends, including taking her dogs, Moose and Dot, on walks and ice fishing with her husband. She also likes being at the lake and reading.

Maddi joined PTP full time in 2015.

Suzanne Hammer

 Suzanne completed her pre-physical therapy coursework at NDSU and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from UND in 2006. Suzanne has over ten years of experience in inpatient and outpatient pediatrics as well as school-based services; her special interests include early motor development, aquatics, special education, and youth sports. Suzanne is CPI, CPR, and first aid certified; and has additional education in post-concussion treatment, NDT, sensory integration, and toe-walking.

When Suzanne isn’t taking care of patients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing recreational volleyball, and loves seeing her favorite bands live in concert!

Suzanne works for PTP as a per diem therapist.

Tara Jaeger

Tara received her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Jamestown. She holds a bachelor of science degree in athletic training and exercise science from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

As a certified athletic trainer with an emphasis on youth sports, Tara also has experience working with children with various abili...ties through her fieldwork internship. She especially enjoys working with children with orthopedic injuries and rehabilitation, gross motor development, and on gait analysis and the neuromuscular system.

Tara enjoys spending time with her family and children. Outside of work you might find her at the lake, on the golf course, lifting weights, rollerblading, or playing volleyball.

Physical Therapists - Bismarck

Alexis Morlok

Alexis received her doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Mary in Bismarck. Alexis completed part of her clinical rotation with PTP, and she brings experience and knowledge to our patients.

While she enjoys working with all children and diagnoses, Alexis is especially interested in neuromuscular rehabilitation and anything that involves gait analysis.

When not seeing patients, Alexis likes to garden, run, read, work out, and spend time with her family and kids. She joined the PTP team in summer 2016.

Kiley received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of North Dakota.

Kiley has experience working with outpatient pediatrics, inpatient pediatrics, and in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). She enjoys working with children with neuromuscular-based challenges and developmental delays and has a special interest in neuro-developmental treatment.

Kiley is a certified TheraTog Fitter (CTF) Level  1 and has had additional training in serial casting, orthotics, wheelchair seating and positioning, neuro-developmental treatment, and kinesio taping.

In her free time, Kiley enjoys playing the piano, shopping, traveling, reading, and skiing.

Kiley joined the PTP team in 2014.

Lisa Lafleur

Lisa received her master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of North Dakota. She has experience working with pediatrics in both medical centers and special education units.

A lover of medicine, biology, and neuro-development, Lisa enjoys applying her knowledge and skills to gross motor development in children. She is passionate about watching kids find success in their development and play, especially through fun and creative methods!

Outside of work, Lisa enjoys reading, scrapbooking, photography, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She joined the PTP team in the summer of 2016.

Janette Venaas-Gilbraith - Coordinator

Speech Coordinator/Owner; MS, CCC-SLP

Janette received her master of science in speech-language pathology from North Dakota State University and bachelor of science in speech-language pathology from Moorhead State University. She has practiced pediatric speech-language therapy in a variety of settings including an Early Intervention program, educational setting, and in a medical facility. She has taught at the college level focusing on traumatic brain injury for the pediatric population. She specializes in oral motor skills, feeding deficits, neuro-developmental skills, apraxia, cochlear implants, hearing impairments, and auditory deficits. She has also received extensive training and certification in the areas of Fast ForWord, Beckman Massage, and Advance Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to feeding, restructuring oral muscular phonetic targets (PROMPTS), Talk Tools and Cochlear implants. Janette serves on the Board of Directors for ND Hand & Voices.

Janette's son is attending college at South Dakota School of Mines in Rapid City and studying Engineering. Her daughter is actively involved in girl's hockey team through Shattuck-St. Mary's in Faribault, MN. They have been a member of the El Zagal Shrine for the past 13 years. Janette also enjoys watching and attending the NDSU Bison football games.

Amanda received a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Amanda specializes in therapy for articulation, language, social aspects, feeding deficits, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and oral motor deficits. She believes that family involvement is an essential part of speech and language success and that families and therapists should collaborate to formulate achievable and functional goals for each unique child. She enjoys personally getting to know each child with whom she works.

Outside of therapy sessions, Amanda enjoys traveling and spending time with her son.

Arica Strehlow

Arica received both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from Minnesota State University Moorhead in the area of speech-language pathology.

Arica has experience working with children in articulation, phonology, language disorders and delays, social aspects, cognition, swallowing (dysphagia), and voice. Additionally, she is trained in visual phonics, a system of hand shapes with corresponding movements to aid in teaching speech and reading. She believes that the key to successful therapy intervention is educating and training the child’s family, caregivers, and staff to ensure carry-over of skills into the child's natural environments.

Outside of therapy sessions, Arica enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going camping, and relaxing at the lake.

Becky received a master's degree from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas and bachelor's degree from the University of North Dakota.

Becky has work experience in a variety of settings including public schools, long term care facilities, hospital acute, rehab, and outpatient therapy and private practice.  She has provided speech language services to individuals from preschool age to geriatric.  Her areas of interest include dysphagia, language delays, and brain injury.

In her personal time Becky enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to movies, playing the piano, and reading.

Brianna Jallo earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from University of Nebraska-Lincoln and her Bachelors of Science Degree in the field of Communication Sciences and Disorders from University of North Dakota.  

Brianna has a variety of experience working with the pediatric population in the hospital setting which included the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and acute care, and respectfully in the school system.  Her experience ranges from providing treatment for swallowing, reading disorders, articulation, childhood apraxia of speech and Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC). Her areas of interest include AAC, articulation and receptive & expressive language.

While Brianna isn’t taking care of her patients, she enjoys spending time with friends & family, crocheting, being at the lake, and hanging out with her hedgehog.

Brittany received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota Duluth and her master's degree from the University of North Dakota.

Brittany has experience in articulation and phonological disorders, language delays, cognitive delays, voice fluency, and augmentative & alternative communications. She is certified in Beckman Oral Motor Therapy and Visual Phonics. Brittany also enjoys supporting patients with cochlear implants.

Brittany believes it's important to work closely with each family, providing direct therapy as well as consultation to family members and education staff. Assessment and intervention services are based and driven by the needs of the child and their family.

Family is everything to Brittany. She is lucky enough to have her 3 sisters and parents in the same town. If she's not chasing her nephews around, you'll find her doing something she loves, such as golfing, gardening, running, watching movies, or spending quality time with her best friends.

Diane received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Ariz. She brings a wide variety of experience and specialties from public schools and rehab work in Alaska, Arizona, Minnesota, Montana, and North Dakota.

Diane especially enjoys working with children of all ages, particularly school-aged, on articulation, phonological disorders, fluency, and language disorders.

In her free time, Diane participates in musical productions and likes to spend time with her children & grandchildren. You can often find her reading, singing, traveling, and involved in church activities.

Her areas of interest include feeding, articulation, and language development.

While Haley isn’t taking care of her patients she enjoys playing volleyball, reading, being outdoors, and finding her next big adventure.

With experience in a preschool program and hospital setting, Haley is interested in working with children who need help developing their language and articulation skills as well as those who have sensory-based needs. She loves the opportunity to help nurture young children every day and give them the communication tools and skills they need to build a strong foundation for life.

Outside of work, Haley enjoys reading, music, dancing, creative arts, and any outdoor activities. She joined PTP in the summer of 2016.

Jessie received her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of North Dakota and Bachelors of Science from Minnesota State University Moorhead in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences.

Jessie has experience working with children that demonstrate concerns in the areas of articulation, phonological processes, childhood receptive and expressive language, literacy, and fluency. She has experience working in the public school system serving children with a variety of speech and language disorders.

In her free time, she enjoys doing lots of outdoor activities that includes camping, fishing, hunting and hiking. She also enjoys being involved with volleyball and basketball leagues.

Rachel Coppin received both her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science Degrees from Minnesota State University Moorhead in the area of speech-language pathology.

Rachel has worked in the field of speech-language pathology for over 31 years. She has extensive experience working with children that present themselves with the Autism Spectrum Disorder. Additionally, she is trained in the use of visual supports and picture exchange communication systems, Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) and has training in Digital Auditory Aerobics.

In Rachel’s free time, she enjoys reading and watching movies, loves karate and is a black belt!

Rachel Olson

Rachel received her Bachelor of Science from Minnesota State University Moorhead and her Master of Arts from the University of Minnesota Duluth.

She has experience with the pediatric and adult population in the evaluation and treatment of dysphasia (feeding), voice, cognition, Down syndrome, autism, language, fluency, and articulation. She is certified in SOS Feeding Therapy, Beckman Oral Motor Stretches and Massage, Talk Tools Oral Motor Therapy, and Visual Phonics. Her primary focus has been working with children with dysphasia. She is the lead therapist for the feeding team.

Rachel believes patience, compassion, and good listening skills are required during each therapy session. She develops the best plan of care to tailor each child's needs to help develop or recover skills to fulfill education and social roles.

Rachel grew up on a farm in Munich, ND and currently lives in Kindred with her husband Aaron and and their sons Sawyer and Lincoln. She loves spending time with her family and doing outdoor activities, along with running, baking, and reading.

Rachel joined the Pediatric Therapy Partners team in 2008.

Tessa Samson

Tessa received her Master of Science in Communicative Disorders at the University of Wisconsin River Falls and a Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Minnesota State University Moorhead. 

She has experience working with pediatric through adult populations, including individuals with cognitive-communication deficits and dysphagia from traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and stroke. Tessa has a passion for working with the deaf and hard of hearing population through habilitation and rehabilitation, and she previously worked at a center base elementary school as part of the school district's Cochlear Implant team.

Tessa has worked with children with articulation disorders, language delays, childhood apraxia of speech, autism spectrum disorders, cognitive communication deficits, hearing impairments, social communication deficits, and augmentative alternative communication (AAC). She has training in visual phonics and oral motor assessment and treatment.

In her spare time, Tessa enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She enjoys reading, baking, spending time outdoors, and being with family.

Tiffany received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from St. Cloud State University and a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Dakota.

Tiffany is certified in the SOS Feeding Therapy, Talk Tools, Beckman Oral Motor Stretches & Massage, The PROMPT Technique, and Lee Silverman Voice Treatment. Tiffany has extensive experience in feeding disorders with infants through the adult population. She is the lead therapist of the Feeding Group, therapeutic feeding with a therapist. She has experience treating a variety of disorders including dysphasia, feeding, oral motor deficits, receptive and expressive language, cognition, dysarthria, and voice. She has also worked with a variety of patients including those with Down Syndrome, Costello Syndrome, Chromosome deletions, hydrocephalus, prematurity, VACTERL Syndrome, Filippi Syndrome, traumatic brain injury, Autism Spectrum disorders, and strokes. Tiffany has co-treated with a variety of other professionals and feels a team approach is essential for treatment with the child and the families.

Tiffany enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She also likes being outdoors.

She joined the Pediatric Therapy Partners team in 2007 and works as a per diem therapist.

Amanda received her master’s degree in speech-language pathology and her bachelor’s degree from Minot State University. As a former clinical student at PTP, Mandy has experience in pediatrics, understands all aspects of our clinic, and appreciates our collaboration with OTs and PTs to help make the biggest overall difference.

Mandy enjoys being an SLP for the pediatric population because of the wide variety of ways she can help make a difference in children’s lives. Getting to work on speech sounds, fluency, social skills, voice, feeding, language, and general communication skills all in one day is a privilege she doesn’t take lightly.

Outside of appreciating the little things with her patients, Mandy likes to spend her time doing anything outdoors (fishing, walking trails, swimming) and loves to spend time with family and friends. She joined Pediatric Therapy Partners in summer 2016.

Amy received her bachelor of arts in communication sciences and disorders and her master of science in speech language pathology from the University of North Dakota.

Amy has experience working in public school settings, and hospital settings, as well as working as a speech therapist and supervisor at Elks Camp Grassick. She enjoys collaborating with parents and families to allow her to be successful with the treatment of all her patients. She especially enjoys working with children that have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, and language delays. She also enjoys narrative language and augmentative and alternative communication.

Amy has had additional training in intervention for autism, narrative language, phonological disorders, and visual phonics.

In her free time Amy enjoys outdoor activities, reading, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Ava received her master’s degree in communication disorders from Minot State University and her bachelor’s degree in audiology and speech language sciences from the University of Northern Colorado. She has experience in a school setting as well as a hospital, where she collaborated with the OT and PT departments.

Ava enjoys working with children on articulation and phonology, language, fluency, pragmatics and social skills, and early intervention. She likes the variety that being a pediatric SLP brings and the opportunity to learn something new every day!

As a new transplant to the Bismarck/Mandan area, Ava loves being outdoors, spending time with family, friends, (and pets!), going to concerts and live music events, reading, and exploring new places. She joined PTP in summer 2016.

Bethanie has almost ten years of pediatric therapy experience in the education system. Her areas of interest include phonology and articulation; developmental language and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Bethanie has her Professional Educator’s License from NDESPB.

During Bethanie’s free time she enjoying being outside; including kayaking, hiking and golfing; spending time with her family and reading.

Kari received her masters of science degree in speech-language pathology from University of North Dakota and her bachelors of science degree in communication sciences and disorders from Minot State University.  For the past five years, she has worked in a pediatric outpatient facility and in an education setting.  Her areas of interest are articulation disorders, stuttering and written language. She holds certifications in the ability to use Kansas Writing Strategies.

In her free time, Kari enjoys painting, gardening and spending time with her cat, Rizzo.

Krista Murray

Krista received her bachelor of science degree in speech/language/hearing sciences from Minnesota State University Moorhead and her master of science degree in communication disorders from Minot State University.

Krista has worked as a speech-language pathologist within the public school setting for preschool to middle school aged children. She also has worked at a medical facility working with infants through adults with an emphasis on pediatric therapy. She enjoys working with the following disorders: articulation, phonological, developmental language, pediatric feeding and swallowing. She also enjoys the areas of augmentative and alternative communication and pre-literacy skills.   

She has received specialized training in articulation and phonological disorders, assessment and treatment of children on the autism spectrum and pediatric feeding and swallowing.

In her free time, Krista enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her puppy, watching movies, playing piano, and going to the lake.

Bobbi received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Mary. Before joining the PTP team, Bobbi spent 18 years in the healthcare field, with the last 11 of those years coordinating and working with community partners in an childhood injury prevention program.

In her free time, Bobbi loves to spend time with her two children, watching her eldest son play college baseball, and is a foster parent through Cass County Social Services.  She is a huge NDSU Bison football fan, enjoys attending and watching sporting events, and reads when she can find the time.

She loves seeing how much patients appreciate the care they receive and how families’ lives are changed through the service we provide.

Katie holds bachelor’s degrees in both early childhood education and elementary education from University of Mary in Bismarck. With experience as an owner and director of a daycare, a kindergarten teacher, and founder of the therapeutic riding center TR 4 Heart & Soul, she understands child development from all angles.

A believer in the whole child approach, Katie is passionate about encompassing everyone in all-inclusive activities and sees the benefits for both typically developing children and those with developmental delays.

Katie enjoys spending time in the outdoors, especially running, being with her horses, and cheering on her kids! She joined PTP as the screening coordinator in the summer of 2016.

When she’s not crunching numbers, Erica loves spending time with her two young children, especially being outside in the warm weather at the beach, and she enjoys health and fitness. She joined PTP in summer 2016.

Valerie “Val” Hoff is from Moorhead, MN. Val studied legal technology at MSCTC in Moorhead. She worked in the legal field for fifteen years, including having worked in the public defender’s office ; and has worked in medical billing for almost ten years.

Val and her husband are avid Harley Davidson motorcycle riders, and spend most of their summer weekends riding. When she isn’t riding she enjoys spending time with her three kids, five grandchildren and her two dogs.

She received her master’s degree in human resources management from Webster University, her bachelor’s in communication from the University of Northwestern, and an associate’s in nursing from Minnesota State Community and Technical College.

Leah has experience as an LPN, working as a family case worker, and in training, education, and outreach. She enjoys staff training and program recruiting.

When not organizing spreadsheets and taking care of our staff, Leah enjoys cooking and baking, music, and spending time with her family. She joined PTP in the summer of 2016.

Megan comes to PTP with a variety of professional and personal experiences that make her a great fit for PTP. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Mass Communications from Minnesota State University Moorhead; as well as a minor in Spanish from the University of  Valencia, Spain.

Megan has worked in the marketing field for over five years; in a variety of business sectors, including having worked the healthcare field before. Megan is CPR & AED certified.

When she is not recruiting new staff and updating social media, Megan enjoys traveling the world (having traveled to over 20 countries), concerts, spending time with her rescue dog Tank, and planning her upcoming wedding. She joined PTP in the fall of 2016.
