OTs Learn Techniques for Defiant Behaviors

July 18, 2016

Occupational therapists from Pediatric Therapy Partners recently attended continuing education training in Bismarck on “Oppositional, Defiant, and Disruptive Children and Adolescents.” The course is designed to teach clinical and behavioral interventions for conduct problems in children.

Ariana Kinnischtzke and Kamela Kelsch gained insight into the best interventions to use for conduct and behavioral problems in both clinical and home settings, as well as developed an understanding of neurologic components of behavior and defiance in kids and adolescents.
