
PTP has a staff of highly skilled and experienced Physical Therapists that specialize in the evaluation, consultation, and treatment of children, birth to 18 years. Pediatric Physical Therapists assist children in developing
improved gross motor skills (activities of the body’s large muscle groups) and fine motor skills (activities of the smaller, more specialized muscle groups) in order to improve their function in everyday activities. We do so using a team approach with parents and other members of the medical team in a fun and enjoyable fashion in the most natural environment possible.
Specialty evaluations and interventions provided for the following areas:
- Musculoskeletal issues such as strength, muscle tone, control, flexibility, joint motion, endurance, and posture
- Orthopedic issues such as torticollis, hip dysplasia scoliosis, and amputation
- Neuromuscular conditions such as Cerebral Palsy
