Kevin received his Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of North Dakota in 1986. He began his career in adult/pediatric rehabilitation at the Rehab in Grand Forks. He has worked in school-based OT for 18 years, serving children from birth through age 21. He has also consulted with community programs in the areas of therapeutic horseback riding, aquatic therapy, and powered mobility clinics. He has worked with all disability types, ranging from mild to severe disabilities, with a specialty in assistive technology. He has served as an adjunct faculty member at Minnesota State University Moorhead in the special education department for the past 12 years and recently completed a two-year term as a full-time faculty member while on leave of absence from the public schools. He received a Master Certificate in assistive technology from the state of Minnesota and is also a licensed special education teacher with a specialty in physical/health disabilities.
